Tracking your progress

Last updated: June 29, 2026

How progress is calculated

Your progress through a course is expressed as a percentage: the number of lessons you have completed divided by the total number of lessons in the course, multiplied by one hundred. A lesson is counted as complete when you reach the end of its content. Depending on how the course is configured, this might mean watching a video to the end, scrolling through a reading, submitting a quiz, or finishing an interactive activity. The platform records your completion automatically — you do not need to click a separate Mark complete button unless the course is specifically set up that way.

Where to see your progress

  • Dashboard — My Courses: each course card displays a horizontal progress bar and a percentage figure. The bar fills from left to right as you complete lessons, and updates in real time.
  • Inside the course — lesson outline: the panel on the left (or accessible via the menu icon on smaller screens) lists every lesson in the course. Completed lessons have a checkmark beside them; your current lesson is highlighted.
  • Course overview page: click the course title from My Courses to return to the overview page, which shows your overall percentage and a breakdown by section.
  • Profile — Certificates: once you reach 100% and pass all required assessments, your certificate appears here. If a certificate is not yet available, this page also shows what requirements remain.

Resuming a course

The platform automatically saves your position within a course. To pick up where you left off, click Continue on the course card in My Courses. You will be taken directly to the last lesson you were working on. If you prefer to revisit an earlier lesson, open the course outline and click any completed lesson to replay it — this will not reset your progress.

Tips for staying on track

  • Set aside regular, dedicated time for learning rather than trying to complete a course in one sitting — spaced repetition leads to better retention.
  • If a course has a due date, work backwards from that date to plan how many lessons you need to complete each week.
  • If your progress percentage seems stuck, try refreshing the page. Video-based lessons may take a moment to register as complete after the final frame plays.
  • If progress is not updating after completing several lessons, log out and back in, then check again.
