Navigating your dashboard

Your dashboard at a glance
After signing in you land on your personal dashboard — the central hub for everything on the platform. The dashboard is designed to surface the information most relevant to you: the courses you are currently working through, upcoming deadlines, recent announcements, and quick links to explore new content. This article walks through each section so you know exactly where to look for what you need.
Main navigation areas
- My Courses — The first thing you see after logging in. This section lists every course you are currently enrolled in, along with a progress bar showing how far through the course you are. Click any course card to open that course and continue where you left off.
- Course Catalog — Browse the full library of courses available to you. Use the search bar and filter panel to narrow results by topic, format (video, reading, interactive), or duration. Click a course tile to read its overview and enroll.
- Notifications — The bell icon in the top navigation bar shows a badge count when you have unread notifications. Notifications include new course assignments from your administrator, approaching deadlines, instructor announcements, and grading updates.
- Profile menu — Click your avatar or initials in the top-right corner to access your profile settings, view your certificates, change your password, and sign out.
- Help Center — A link to this Help Center is typically found in the footer or in the profile menu. Use it whenever you have a question about the platform.
Understanding course cards
Each course card on the dashboard gives you a snapshot of your progress at a glance:
- The progress bar fills from left to right as you complete lessons. The percentage figure next to it shows exactly how much of the course you have completed.
- A due date badge appears in red if the course has a required completion deadline that is approaching or has passed.
- A Continue button takes you straight to the last lesson you were on, without having to navigate the course outline manually.
Tips for an efficient workflow
- Sort your active courses by Due date if you have multiple assignments with different deadlines.
- Use the Course Catalog search to find optional courses on topics you are interested in — not all courses are assigned; some are self-enrollment.
- Check your notifications at the start of each session so you do not miss announcements or deadline reminders from instructors.
- The dashboard layout may differ slightly depending on your organization's branding and feature settings. If you see a section not described here, hover over it or click it to explore — or check the Help Center for an article about that feature.
